Youth Café

St. Mary’s Youth and Community Centre is delighted to announce that it has received funding of €90,000 from the Dormant Accounts to establish a Drop in Centre/Youth Café in Tullamore. This initiative is in direct response to calls from young people/ young adults of the town for somewhere to hang out with their friends. 

The Youth Café/ Drop in Centre is due to open in September and will cater for initially for young people aged 13 - 20.

The Centre would like to thank all of the young people that contributed in any way towards the successful grant application.  It would also like to thank all the agencies, local authorities and members of the community who offered their support for the application.  Without the cooperation between the young people and all of the other sectors of the community this application would not have been successful.
